Party Pig Home Brew Kit (Part #006)

The Party Pig® Beer Dispensing Kit for the Homebrewer consists of the following:

One (1) Bottle, made of tough PET plastic

One (1) "New Style" Plastic Tray and Nylon Carrying Strap (SEE PHOTO BELOW).

One (1) Dispensing Valve Assembly with Gasket

One (1) Aluminum Attaching Ring with Screws

Two (2) Pressure Pouches, Pre-sterilized in plastic shipper

Each Party Pig® Beer Dispensing Kit holds 8.5 liters (2.25 gallons) of beer.  The “Pig” holds about ½ of a typical 5 gallon batch of homebrewed beer.  To use:

1.  Transfer fermented beer into the PET bottle,

2.  Add conditioning sugar,

3.  Place a Party Pig® Pressure Pouch in the bottle,

4.  Attach the Party Pig® Dispensing Valve,

5.  Activate the Pressure Pouch with the Party Pig® Activation Pump (see below),

6.  Bleed the head space gas from the bottle,

7.  Let the Party Pig® Beer Dispenser condition for about 2 weeks,

8.  Refrigerate the Party Pig® Beer Dispenser for about 24 hrs.,

9.  Enjoy your homebrewed draft beer at the “touch of a button”.

 

Please note: All the components are re-usable except the Pressure Pouch.  The two Pressure Pouches which are included in the Kit are enough for two “Pigs” of your beer.

You will need an Activation Pump (Quoin Part #007) to activate the Pressure Pouches after the Bottles are filled with your beer, a Pressure Pouch is inserted and the Valve is secured on the Bottle.  We sell these separately because you only need one of these pumps even though you might own several Party Pig® Beer Dispensing Kits.

Party Pig Pressure Pouch (Part #002)
A new Pressure Pouch is used each time the Party Pig® Dispenser is filled with fresh beer. 

The patented Pressure Pouch, is inserted in  the bottle with the beer, and, after activation,  inflates to a constant 15-20 pounds per square inch of pressure keeping  beer fresh and carbonated for several months.

You may notice the pressure pouch feels and looks slightly different.
In an ongoing effort to improve the Party Pig® beer package Quoin has developed a new plastic film structure for the pressure pouch.  Ease of use is just one of benefits of this development.

Pig Racking Cane (Part #037)

This Racking Cane is specifically designed to be used for siphoning beer into your "Pig" quickly and efficiently. The 5/8" rigid plastic tube extends through a white gum rubber stopper to the bottom of the fermenter and its height is easily adjusted. The hook end is connected to a clear vinyl hose with a pinch shutoff clamp. There is also a 1/4" tube in the stopper to which your Pressure Pouch Activation Pump (Part #007, sold separately) can be connected to start the siphon in a clean and sanitary manner. Typically, a "Pig" can be filled in about a minute.

Each Pig Racking Cane comes with instructions and is sealed in a
clear poly bag.
Pressure Pouch Activation Pump (Part #007)

This tool is needed to activate the Pressure Pouch once the bottle is filled and the valve is firmly in place.

Simply insert the end of the tubing into the valve nozzle, press the valve button and pump the squeeze bulb to pressurize the bottle which will activate the Pressure Pouch.

Bottle Filling Support (Part #008)

This device holds bottles securely in an upright position during filling, pressure pouch insertion, valve attachment and pressure pouch activation. It is made of durable high density polyethylene.

Tray & Strap (Part #005) 
 ALL PARTY PIG KITS CONTAIN THE NEW STYLE TRAY
Black plastic Tray (NEW STYLE!!) to cradle the Bottle in the storage and dispensing orientation and a 1.5 in. wide nylon Strap with carrying handle and Velcro to cinch and secure the strap around the bottle.

NEW STYLE Tray (Part #1015) 
ALL PARTY PIG KITS CONTAIN THE NEW STYLE TRAY
Available separately.  Fits with our standard nylon Strap.  This NEW Tray is made of vacuum formed black polyester.  Super tough and more stylish than our previous Tray.  Designed to fit the bottle more snuggly.  

Strap (Part #1016) Available separately.  Made of 1.5 in nylon with Velcro to cinch the Strap tightly around the Bottle.  Includes a carrying handle.  Fits both our NEW STYLE Tray and our previous Tray.

Pig Parka (Part #024)
This hi-tech "Pig" insulator is made of fabric covered neoprene , the same material that wet suits are made of. It is an excellent and classy looking way to keep your beer at the proper serving temperature for up to four hours. It has a zipper on one seam and can be easily pulled on to the "Pig", which can then be repositioned in the carrying tray and cinched up. The Pig Parka is built to last and is ideal for parties or other such functions where keeping a cold "Pig" out on the counter or table is your objective. Colors are bright blue with black trim.
